About Reservax

Reservax began way back in 2004. It was born out of a need for booking a high volume of subjects for experiments in a psychology lab at the University of British Columbia. At the time, we were studying visual cognition and booking dozens of subjects for experiments each week. Facilitating these appointment bookings and cancellations manually was proving to be a logistical challenge for our research assistants. So we created Reservax, which significantly simplified this process for us.

From there on, Reservax spread to labs beyond the psychology department, such as to those in the Computer Science department needing to book subjects for studies in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) as well as unexpected departments such as Physics!

Reservax has since grown from its humble beginnings into a system that has been used in universities all around the world. From individual labs to entire departments running for-cash studies as well as human subject pool studies, we aim to help researchers to the best that we can.

Reservax has always been focused on being there for researchers, especially since Reservax was born out of a research lab.

We have successfully helped numerous labs book thousands of human subjects for their studies for over a decade. We have seen the authoring of many journal papers, dissertations, and theses. We have kept our service running even during unprofitable periods when we were paying out of our own pocket to help you, our valued researchers, get your studies done because we believe in the benefit that research like yours brings to the world.

Our operations are currently based in the beautiful city of Vancouver, Canada, with servers also located in Canada. While we are a small company, we strive to keep this useful tool going for as long as we can.
